Inhabitable

The Whooping crane is a wading bird native to North America, known to have defeated extinction and made a comeback. However, they are still critically endangered. Oil spills and other marine pollution threatens the habitat they depend on for survival. In this work of art, the Whooping crane wears a protective footwear against pollution and unnatural agents that puts them t at risk of extinction, food shortage, and habitat loss.
